Spray plasters
Starplast Cementitious Enhancer (CE) is a spray-applied higher density plaster for surfaces requiring 8-10
mm thickness. This is an enhancer to acrylic plasters. This is a compound formulation of cement with
finely-graded silica fillers, dolomite, aerating components, polymerising agents. For thickness of 12-15mm, it
is recommended that StarPlast PrimaryCoat is blended with CementitiousEnhancer UItra.
Starplast Fine Finish Coat is a spray-applied acrylic plaster, ready-to-use, ideal for interior building surfaces,
giving superior quality, and suitable for surface finishing on all types of construction substrates prior to
painting or to finish the ceiling with decorative textures. StarPlast Fine FinishCoat can be used on
well-rendered surfaces which require only up to 3mm plaster coat thickness and as the finishing topcoat for
Starplast Primary Coat.
StarBind Primer is a uniquely-blended liquid product of water-based acrylic co-polymer emulsion which
provides strong bonding enabling plastering of highly-smooth substrates and surfaces using StarPlast
PrimaryCoat or its blend with StarPlast CementitiousEnhancer with its enhanced adhesion properties. It can
bond with any building substrates including fairfaced concrete, micro silica concrete, curing
compounds-coated concrete, dense concrete, recast panels, etc., rendering all these surfaces amenable to
spray plastering without hacking or other abrasion-promoting actions.
StarPlast Cementitious DryPlaster is a polymer-modified plaster which is sprayable and useable as a primary
plaster for StarPlast Fine FinishCoat ahead of top-coat application for thicknesses of 8-15mm. Mixability with
water ensures ease of use. StarPlast Cementitious DryPlaster is formulated specially for those surfaces
where average base plaster thickness in excess of 8-15mm is indicated. It is an equally effective application
on both wet and/or external areas.
StarGrip is a cementitious hydraulically and organically bound polymer modified key-coat which promotes
adhesion of mineral based plastering and rendering systems on smooth concrete substrates and in adverse
conditions. Using StarGrip does away with labour and expense surface hacking. Being polymer-enriched and
pre-mixed, this compound with prominent mechanical key provides excellent adhesion, aqua resistance, and
non-cracking properties.

plastering systems, given the economy, speed of completion and superior finish.

StarPlast Primary Coat (PC) is a spray-applied acrylic plaster, is ideal for interior building surfaces, giving superior quality,
unwrinkled and smooth surfaces ready to be painted or given unconventional finishes. This is an acrylic polymer-based,
compound of inert finely-filtered fillers, which saves time and effort as there is no pre-mixing. Suitable for both precast and
conventional brick-and-mortar constructions, direct application on new or old dry surfaces of pre-cast concrete, aerated
concrete, sand/cement, fair-faced and level brickwork, all give excellent results.
Joints & Sealants
Gypstar Multipurpose Joint Compound is a pre-mixed drying multipurpose joint compound specially
formulated for professional applications. It is a lightweight product used for gypsum boards for filling and
repairing minute hairline cracks on both new and old interior surfaces. It can also be used as a skim coat on
gypsum boards and will give a smooth and high quality finish for further work.
CemStar Cement Board Jointing Compound 1K is a pre-mixed lightweight product used for jointing and
repairing of cement boards, giving a smooth and high quality finish for further work. This product has excellent
coverage and bonding as well as adhesive properties and is a unique product from Trimix LLC. This product
has anti-fungal properties from the additives in it.
SticStar Acrylic Mastic is a general-purpose, water and weather proof, single-pack, acrylic joint mastic and
crack repair filler, for interior and exterior use. SticStar acts as a hydro-impervious joint and a dust and damp
proof seal which cannot be handled with normal mastics. Available in white and grey colours, it is easy to use,
has high adhesion to all substrates, has remarkable permanent flexibility of original joint size and being
quick-drying, can be painted on after 24 hours of application.
Fillers
StuccoStar is a ready-made filler for interior use on most building surfaces, including timber. It provides an
even, smooth surface for painting. StuccoStar enables the artisan to patch up and touch up interior surfaces,
both old and new, preparing it for painting and fills joints and hairline cracks equally well. StuccoStar is
superior to the conventional fillers due its plastic properties, no flaking, and high retention of adhesion and
permanence.
Adhesives
TileStar TilePaste is a ready-to-use , all purpose acrylic adhesive for tiles and clinkers, formulated and
prepared for exterior and interior surfaces of concrete, plasterboard, gypsum, etc. Application is easy using
notched trowel. This special formulation used fine-grain crushed dolomite and acrylic binder with proprietary
additives to improve plasticity and adhesion. This product has anti-fungal properties from the additives in it.
WoodStar is designed for indoor wood-bonding operations of both softwood and hardwoods, and is a
polyvinyl-acetate based wood-working adhesive. Its adhesive strength is such that bonded close-fitting wood
surfaces generally fail due fracture of the wood: the bonding remains intact. This excellent adhesive is
characterised by easy application, usability on all wood types, stronger bond strength than that of wood,
stability during freezing and thawing, flame retardation, and international standard polymers. WoodStar finds
wide use in framework assembly, mortise-tenon jointing, dowel plain and bevelled lap joints, bonding wood
veneers to chipboard, etc.
StarDuct Ultra is a tough, abrasion-resistant, washable, multi-use, indoor coating based on acrylic polymers
working as both adhesive and coating for lagging cloth (canvas/fibre glass) insulation on air conditioning
ducting. It makes the lagging water resistant and gives a neat whitish finish. StarDuct Ultra is a water-borne
acrylic compound having superior flexibility properties as fast drying, non-yellowing and remarkable
resistance to dampness, mould and dirt.
Mortars
TileStar Cementitious Tile Fixing Mortar is general purpose tile adhesive suitable for use on walls and floors
of concrete, lightweight concrete and plaster in both exterior and interior surfaces. It is an easy-to-apply
mortar for the mounting and laying of ceramic tiles, glazed and unglazed clinkers, and mosaics. Hydraulic and
organic binding ensures excellent adhesion between tiles and surface.
Water Proofing
StarShield Cementitious Waterproofing is a permanent, cost-effective, long-life flexibility waterproofing
system for foundations, roofs, pools, and façades. StarShield performs excellently in areas with extreme
climatic conditions. It is versatile with superior bondability with new and old surfaces of concrete, bitumen, and
tiles. Application can be done by brush or spray; it is so stable that, after drying the uncovered area can be
walked upon.
